  • Abrasion: Scrubbing the unwanted hair away on the face or another part of the skin.
  • Braid: Weaving hair strands together.
  • Bulge: Midway of the hair follicle.
  • Eyelashes: Hair found on the eyelids that mainly protects the eye from lightweight particles.
  • Follicles: The tiny bulb beneath the hair scalp from which the hair follicle grows.
  • Hair extensions: Additional hair meant to add its volume and length.
  • Hair weaving: Attaching another hair to the already existing one on the head.
  • Kanekalon: A synthetic hair brand names from Japan.
  • Weave: Hairpieces that are added to the existing ones so as to look like the real hair.
  • Wig: Hair pieces with a full cap that completely cover the other hair on the head.hair

  • Bleaching: Whitening of the skin in order to get a brighter skin color.
  • Cuticles: The hard outer cover of the skin especially around the hair growth and on the feet.
  • Dandruff: Peeling off of skin scalp around the hair follicle due to excess cell growth.
  • Epidermis: The thin outer layer of the skin.
  • Facelift: Medical surgery that improves general skin outlook and enhances younger facial look.
  • Hydrate: Adding more moisture to the skin especially face.
  • Melanin: Pigment underneath the skin that gives it color.

  • Cosmetics: Liquid foundations and powders mainly used to treat hair and skin mainly in women.
  • Gel: The viscous liquid that is medically manufactured to be applied on the face and other skin parts.
  • Glycerin: Viscous clear liquid mainly used on hair and skin for softening.
  • Henna: Product extracted from the henna plant that is used to dye nails.brush
  • Moisturizer: Medically manufactured emollient cream. Used to hydrate the face and other skin parts.
  • Relaxer: Straightening of hair involving an application of a chemical that straightens and softens them.
  • Shampoo: Medically manufactured viscous liquid used to clean the hair.
  • Texturizer: A mild hair chemical that is applied to the hair and left there for a shorter period to allow it to relax and form African hair like curls.
  • Treatment: A process of adding back the protein to the hair before conditioning it.
