How to Stay Positive During Covid-19

Staying positive and optimistic in times of tragedy can be difficult, but it is necessary for your emotional well-being and your immune system. Due to the hurdles caused by this coronavirus pandemic, even individuals with the brightest outlook have a hard time staying optimistic.

Over time, many research projects and studies have shown a link between general optimism and well-being. In these studies, Skeptics argue that it is most likely a person’s good health that makes them positive and optimistic, not the positivity and confidence that their health causes. Practice Gratitude

When life seems bleak, there are things to be grateful for. Keep a gratitude journal or do a quick gratitude meditation at dawn. Notice the small, meaningful things for which you are grateful. One of the benefits of social isolation is keeping up and giving up some everyday anxieties. Be sure to improve your awareness by continually practicing mindfulness. You can do this by trying to stay as current as possible. Focus on the facts around you, such as smells and sounds. Reduce the number of thoughts you have, which means you can follow your inner voice.

Nurture Your Digital Community

positive

Just because we’re in the process of practicing social withdrawal doesn’t mean we can’t stay in touch with our nearest and dearest friends and family. With all of the communication technologies that many people worldwide have access to, movie phone calls, group discussions, and attending digital parties and concerts are valuable options that we should be thankful for. Remember that your loved ones and friends will likely experience precisely the same types of stress and tension that you are experiencing, so make a mental effort to contribute positively to your conversation.…
